How I look after the information you share with me through this website.

This website is run by Duncan Fleming Celebrant ("I", "me", "my"). I take your privacy seriously and only ever use your details to help with your enquiry. This page explains what I collect and why.
The information I collect
When you use the enquiry form, I collect the details you choose to send me:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (if you provide it)
- The type of ceremony and any preferred date
- Anything you write in your message
I don't collect anything else, and the website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies.
How I use your information
I use your details for one purpose only: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to plan and deliver your ceremony. I will never sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing.
The lawful basis
I process your details on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a possible arrangement, and my legitimate interest in responding to genuine enquiries.
How your information is handled
Your enquiry is sent to me by email and stored in my email account so I can reply and keep track of our conversation. A copy of each enquiry is also saved securely on my website, in a private password-protected area that only I can see, so that no message is ever lost if an email goes astray. My website and email are hosted by my web-hosting provider on my behalf. I keep your details only for as long as I need them to deal with your enquiry or ceremony, and then delete them.
Other services this site uses
To display properly, the site loads fonts from Google Fonts and some images from image hosting services. When your browser loads these, it may share your IP address with those providers. No personal details from your enquiry are ever shared with them.
Your rights
You have the right to ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Just email me and I'll be glad to help. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
